Since 1977 the FONTANA company has been producing agricultural machinery.

Specialized in leveling the field or terrain of any type, The FONTANA company boosts a range of modular laser-controlled levelers (patented and approved) in its product list which are designed to be of use in farming as it is in the construction sector (for the leveling of greenhouses, warehouses, sports fields, squares, roads and airports). Working widths of these machines vary from 1.50 m to 8 m depending on the model. Through the installation of a laser system on these machines with its 3 key elements ( the transmitter, the receiver and the control unit), Fontana company had achieved and brought about precision leveling.

One can spontaneously make either a horizontal plane or a double slope. Furthermore, transversal slopes may be set automatically using the double pole system, making use of the two receiving systems (slopes in mm) or the slope sensor system (slopes in percentage). Though the total GPS control system is getting more appreciation.

Machines that can haul earth and materials over medium and long distance such as heavy- duty scrapers of 3,50 up to 20m³ are also manufactured here.
For minimum tillage practices, new techniques and solutions are offered by the company which include various models of disc harrows, subsoilers, subsoilers, combined cultivators, rollers, harrows, seeders, weeders, fertilizer spreaders (linear and locator).

Fontana had since expanded its range of service when in 1986 harvesters, together with the sorting machines for green beans and beans had been manufactured. In addition, they also started supplying farming machines, installations of laser control systems, transport, testing and providing operators’ training, and after sales service.
